PRISON

I
know
the Cost
now
to be
inside these walls
The Silence
they necessitate
The Price
moreso
than the privilege
of walking down
these Hollow Halls

It’s a
Censorship
I never dared
Fear
A Halting
A Gasp
No more
a Respite

I will see
You
Someday
Across green blades
Yearning
will shred
my vocal cords
when You
look upon me
in Disgust

Pain
I bury now
will mutilate

My Countenance will shudder
Begging you consider
Reconciliation
after a hearing
of what I
would not say
Inside the Prison
that
Now hushes
Us

Beyond
Knowlege or Care
From Anyone
